Well, Part 1 of our summer will soon be coming to an end. This is the "Bromont uninterrupted" part, the part where it's all bikes, all the time. I do love being here, but I find that my photography leans very heavily towards bike-related activities, because that's what most of our time here is spent on. Totally normal, right? It doesn't bother me, but I get how it can be redundant for a reader of this blog! I admit, I've been a little lazy so far with this project. Time to branch out! Hopefully, these will be the last biking shots you'll see for a bit.
This first image is one of my favorites from Part 1 of our summer. This was taken with my iPhone, right before the whip-off competition during the vélo de soirée event at Bromont montagne d'expériences. I love the mountain biking vibe of this photo. The whip-off is accessible only by bike, and everyone just drops theirs wherever, and then proceeds to get into position to watch the boys (no girls this year!) do their thing.
And a few more random bike park photos from when my dad was visiting. Same old, I know. I'm working on some new material!
50 nuances d'été is a group project that brings together a number of talented photographers from the beautiful province of Quebec. Please take a look at the wonderful work of Christine Bastien to follow the loop. This week, Christine takes us on a photo journey through the country fair in Trois-Rivières!
