This has been a pretty unusual summer in that we have not spent much time at all in Montreal, and I personally couldn't be happier about it. Case in point, our return from out west. We arrived at the airport in Montreal, stopped at home to pick up the car, quickly picked up a dog we missed very much, and made a bee-line to Bromont where the whole family was reunited. I have enjoyed my summer away from the city more than I thought was possible, and am beginning to wonder whether I am a city girl or a country girl at heart. Miss C. says she prefers city life, but I have a feeling that when she's older, she will have only good memories of our time in this place.
50 nuances d'été is a group project that brings together a number of talented photographers from the beautiful province of Quebec. Please take a look at the wonderful work of Hélène Gey (who is documenting her summer in square format on her iPhone!) to follow the loop.
