Family Photos for a Friend | Montreal Family Photographer

My sweet friend Jamie has been one of my biggest supporters since the very first day I ventured into this photography gig. In the past year and a half, I have done her business headshots, taken photos of her and her son when he was a finalist in the ARC Mother’s Day writing contest, and was even asked to take her annual family Christmas photos last year. When she asked if I would do her family photos again this year, I naturally said yes. This is her 4th photo session with me, which not only makes her a great friend, but also MY BEST CLIENT EVER.

Whereas last year, they were a little lukewarm about getting their photos taken, this year they were on FIRE. Remind me to ask her what she fed them for lunch that day - I'll need all the help I can get with my kids when we have our own family photos taken in a couple of weeks. Seriously, these kiddos were so much fun...

Thank you for trusting me over + over to capture your beautiful family, Jamie!

P.S. The "comfortable" outdoor season for photos is unfortunately drawing to a close. If you weren't able to have your photos done outdoors this year, then consider booking ahead for a session next spring or summer. In my opinion, an outdoor photo shoot is really the best way to go with small children. The kids have room to explore, run around, play and truly be themselves. The scenery is also beautiful in the great outdoors - not just in the fall, but at all times of the year. Sessions can take place in a park, at a chalet, in an urban location or right in your own back yard! The session you see here took place entirely in the family's back yard and in front of their house, proving that you don't need to go far to get great photos.
